Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Shelter for the homeless. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Equipment: Snowblower. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Dependability. Initiative. Organized.
