Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Office of health care professional. Tasks: Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine. Clean and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Assist chiropractor with patient health education. Connect treatment machines to patients, as directed by chiropractor. Assist chiropractor with physical examinations. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication.
