Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Mixing fertilizer. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Maintain financial and production records. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 3-4 people. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) .- LocationAgassiz, BC
