<p><span>Job Type: Full Time, Permanent </span></p><p><span>Shift: 3x12 Hour Night Shifts - 6:00pm - 6:30am (Weekend availability required)</span></p><p><br><span>Compensation:</span></p><ul><li><span>$38.82/hr plus applicable Shift Premiums</span></li><li><span>4th Class Power Engineer Premium - $1/hr</span></li><li><span>Afternoon/Night Shift Premium - $0.95/hr</span></li><li><span>Annual Tool Allowance of $325</span></li><li><span>Boot Allowance - $205 per contract year</span></li><li><span>Uniform Provided - winter jacket, spring jacket, pants, shirts, gloves + toque</span></li></ul><br>Responsibilities:<br><br><span>The 4th Class Power Engineer will be responsible for repair and troubleshooting of our food production equipment with continued attention to preventative maintenance. Responsibilities will include welding, machining, ammonia refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, plastics manufacturing, material handling, PLC, etc.<br><br></span>Qualifications: <br><ul><li><span>At least 18 years of age</span></li><li><span>4th Class Power Engineer Certificate</span></li><li><span>Minimum of one-year previous electrical experience in a food plant environment</span></li><li><span>Strong mechanical background</span></li><li><span>Must be able to read and write English as there is possibility of severe injury to self or others due to nature of work</span></li><li><span>Cost exposure to the company is greater than $1,000</span></li><li><span>Familiar with the safe operation of hand tools</span></li><li><span>Team player who shows initiative, reliability and flexibility</span></li><li><span>Must be able to work with minimal amount of supervision in a fast-paced environment</span></li><li><span>Other duties as assigned</span></li></ul><br>Physical Demands:<br><ul><li><span>Frequently lifting/carrying a maximum of 80 lbs</span></li><li><span>Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 100 lbs (with the aid of a mechanical device)</span></li><li><span>Frequent bending and reaching above the shoulder</span></li></ul>
