Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Install and overhaul heating systems. Install refrigeration systems. Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems. Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements. Troubleshoot heating systems. Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components. Provide customer service. Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system. Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification. Air conditioning and refrigeration systems: Heat pump. Air motioning and circulation. Ventilation. Cooling tower. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Attention to detail. Manual dexterity.
