Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Retail business. Wholesale establishment/store. Tasks: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff. Sell merchandise. Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Establish and maintain contact with suppliers. Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
