Today, Booster Juice has expanded to over 430 locations across Canada; thanks to our explosive growth, we are seeking to bolster our team by bringing aboard an experienced *Human Resources Manager* who will be based out of our Edmonton Head Office*.*
As Booster Juice's leader for all things people, culture, and recruitment, the ideal Human Resources Manager will have experience building out best-in-class HR processes, policies, and programs. Above all, the Human Resources Manager will be an ambassador for the company?s vision and values while also supporting our senior leadership team in creating a safe and positive work environment for all.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager include but are not limited to:
-Overseeing the recruitment lifecycle for new corporate office hires, including maintaining and creating job descriptions, sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, conducting reference checks, and leading the new hire onboarding and orientation process.
-Refining and maintaining the organization's HR policies and procedures.
-Managing employee relations and group benefits such as short and long-term disability claims, leaves of absence, and WCB claims.
-Planning and executing HR-related projects such as the development of training, development, attraction, and talent retention programs.
-Assisting the leadership team in conducting annual/semi-annual HR processes such as performance and compensation reviews.
-Providing on-going advice to the Booster Juice senior leadership team regarding performance and talent management strategies.
The ideal candidate for this role would bring the following to the table:
-5 or more years of full-cycle HR experience
-Prior experience as an HR Manager or Director
-Experience in a large food service and/or franchise-based brand
-Post secondary education (e.g. degree or diploma) in Human Resources
-CHRP or CHRL designation an asset
