Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Construction company. Tasks: Build models. Manage landscaping projects. Prepare conceptual designs. Prepare proposals. Estimate costs. Prepare presentation graphics and drawings. Write specifications. Survey and assess designated sites. Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions. Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes. Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Ability to distinguish between colours. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Organized. Team player. Punctuality. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
