Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Clip animal coat. Document animal behaviour. Monitor animal behaviour. Style animal coat. Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures. Conduct anals glands treatment. Keep records of animals treated. Clean animal ears. Clip animal nails. Perform dental cleaning on domestic animals. Care for pets. Perform animal grooming activities . Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Pet Grooming Certificate. Type of pets groomed: All breeds of dogs. Animal specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.). Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills.
