Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Inspect operation of instruments and systems. Repair and adjust system components. Complete test and maintenance reports. Remove and replace defective parts. Calibrate components and instruments. Determine testing and maintenance procedures. Install new measuring instruments. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification. Instrumentation and Control Technicians (Red Seal). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Team player. Reliability. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Workplace information: On the road job. Health benefits: Dental plan.
