Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Control equipment manufacturer. Tasks: Assemble and fit metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints. Collect, record and summarize inspection results. Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints. Assemble panelboard and switchboard cabinets and install bus bars.
