PAL Technical Services is currently hiring a Production Manager for our team in Halifax, NS. The Production Manager will direct aircraft maintenance activities to ensure the maintenance, modification, and repair of aircraft are accomplished in accordance with policies and instructions contained in the Maintenance control manual. They will work collaborate with other teams to ensure maintenance activities can be carried out effectively to meet customer requirements and timeline. Duties and Responsibilities: Scheduling for AMEs and groomers Coordinate with the training department to assign training and adjust schedules accordinglyEnter schedules in ADP to match crew schedules to ensure accurate time and attendance recordingEnsure all clock in times for crews are coordinated and matched for payroll processingEnsure regular hangar and ramp inspections are conducted and report any noted deficiencies; maintain equipment in serviceable working condition; and workshop and hangar facilities in a clean and orderly mannerCoordinate with OHS to ensure MTC bases have weekly, monthly equipment and hanger inspections completed and any noted deficiencies are rectified Attend monthly OHS meetings to ensure standards are metEnsuring sufficient tools, equipment are made available to accomplish the maintenance and inspection functionsCoordinate with Maintenance Planning to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events and tasksConduct weekly tool box talks to communicate with production maintenance team Other duties as required.Qualifications: AME License; M, S or E is preferredAircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on company aircraft is preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience as AMEMust possess strong interpersonal skillsExcellent decision making and organizational skillsProven experience in meeting tight deadlines Trouble shooting experience and the ability to problem solveHighly effective written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work both independently and in a team environmentExperience in a supervisory role is considered an assetExperience in overseeing heavy checks is considered an assetKnowledge of Transport Canada Regulations Knowledge of airframe and power plant systemsIn depth knowledge of Win-Air and its reporting capabilities and production moduleMust meet company security requirementsWhat we offer: Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Defined Contribution Pension PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEmployee Tuition Assistance ProgramEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramPersonal travel privileges with PAL and interline agreements with multiple airlinesCLOSING DATE: Applications will be accepted until June 28, 2024 PAL Technical Services is committed to fostering an inclusive work environment that celebrates and encourages diversity, equity, and inclusion whereby individuals are recognized, supported, and respected.
