Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.. Plan and control budget and expenditures. Supervise other workers. Establish and implement policies and procedures. Train other workers. Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences. Determine and establish office procedures and routines. Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies. Manage contracts. Manage training and development strategies. Advise senior management. Respond to employee questions and complaints. Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers. Conduct research. Conduct performance reviews. Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs. Carry out administrative activities of establishment. Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures. Review and evaluate new administrative procedures . Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met. Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services. Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls. Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
