Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Drive lighter, special purpose trucks. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Type of trucking and equipment: Tow truck. Transportation/travel experience: Provincial/territorial. Regional. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Reliability. Team player. Experience: Will train.
