Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage kitchen staff, including training and scheduling
- Ensure the quality of food meets the restaurant's standards
- Assist in the preparation and creation of menu items
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Develop new dishes and menus
- Supervise food production to ensure efficiency and quality control
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant kitchen
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Knowledge of restaurant management principles
- Proficient in food service practices, including food handling and preparation
- Excellent supervisory skills to oversee kitchen staff effectively
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Hospitality mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
