Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Work with minimal supervision. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform safety and security checks. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Perform minor repairs on appliances. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
