Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: High school. Tasks: Assess clients' cognitive, social and emotional barriers to establish adaptation goals. Assist students to develop life skills. Collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs. Develop individualized education and intervention plans based on special needs of client to facilitate their readaptation and independence objectives. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Rehabilitation or Special Education Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Judgement. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
