*About Us:* At AST Stone and Flooring we fabricate and install granite, marble, quartz and tiles, with over 26 years of experience in high-end residential construction markets. AST has built an enviable track record in the industry, making us one of the most sought after elite fabricators and installers. AST is looking for Tile Installers who can work well with a team, and under pressure. Candidates must have at least 2 years of prior experience with installation or tile setting. Working conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, large workload Work site environment: Odours, Dusty Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered, mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel, set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base, align and straighten tiles, cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools, pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout, remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs, build under beds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets, cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite, install tiles strips Work Setting: Residential Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 per week Schedule: * 8 hour shift Experience: * Tile Setting: 2 years (preferred) * Tile Installation: 2 years (required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON M6M 4B8- LocationNorth York, ON
