Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Viticulture. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Cut agricultural crops. Greenhouse cleaning. Implement soil fertility programs. Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Tie and secure plants. Weeding. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Operate heavy equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Pesticide Applicator's Licence. Equipment and machinery experience: Sprayer or duster. Tractor. Forklift. Area of specialization: Agricultural crop service. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
