Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Hospital or clinical pharmacy. Tasks: Advise customers on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage. Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication. Check prescriptions for proper dosage. Maintain medication profiles of customers including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs. Supervision: 3-4 people. Security and safety: Immunization records. Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Client focus. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
