Prairie Harm Reduction is seeking to fill a Temporary PT position open for our Youth Homes. There are two homes providing support to youth ages 16 - 21 who are in the permanent care of the Ministry of Social Services. This position is for our home with female-identifying youth. Duties:-Supervise youth in residential home and community-Provide guidance to youth to build basic life skills like cleaning and cooking.-Work with the team at home to support the youth's case plan-Complete documentation-Work with the team at home to identify the needs of the youth and connect with programming and resources in the community.- Provide transportation as needed for recreation activities and appointments Preferred Skills & Education:- Must be able to pass a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sectors check- Must have a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers' License - Some post-secondary education in a related field or work and lived experience relevant to the position- Up to date First Aid/CPR- Understanding of substance use and its impacts on youth- Understanding of complex behavioural needs and best practice when supporting youth
