We encourage applications from all qualified candidates. <p>Duties to Commence: August 16, 2024 <p>Qualifications & Duties: Committed to being a model and witness to Christ-centered education values and beliefs.<p> Apply foundational knowledge about First Nations, Mtis and Inuit for the benefit of all students, and support the Divisions goals towards advancing Truth and Reconciliation.<p> High School diploma supplemented by related post-secondary education (ex. business administration courses).<p> Minimum 2 years experience in a school or office environment is preferred.<p> Knowledge of basic office routines, procedures and practices is required.<p> Experience with cash, Accounts Receivable/Payable, purchasing, internal & external reporting, along with knowledge of internal controls.<p> Experience with PowerSchool, Rycor, Webguide, Dossier and/or other office administrative software is preferred.<p> Excellent analytical skills and general ledger reconciliation experience is required.<p> Excellent spreadsheet & computer skills (MAC preferred).<p> Competency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and gmail is preferred.<p> Experience with Google docs and/or Google apps for Education is preferred.<p> Experience with school website data entry and updates preferred.<p> Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and excellent phone etiquette and reception skills.<p> Ability to work both collaboratively with administration and school staff, as well as independently and with little supervision.<p> Ability to work appropriately with elementary students.<p> Ability to work in a welcoming and professional environment with parents and community members.<p> Administration support including preparing supervision schedules, FOIP reports and Extranet reports.<p> Ability to approach challenging situations in a manner that is collaborative, constructive and solution-focused.<p> Coordinate information for substitutes on a daily basis including distribution of plans, Chromebooks, keys and data entry on the EASI system.<p> Management of student records <p> Management and submission of all required documents to Alberta Education via PASI.<p> First Aid Training preferred (Commitment to obtain and maintain a minimum of Emergency First Aid) <p> Assist in the dispensing of student medications and supervision when students are in the general office area.<p> Flexibility in adjusting to changing assignments and all duties as assigned.
