<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>A middle-size paving company is looking for an <span class="long-word">estimating/contracts</span> administrator with construction industry experience for full-time position. The successful candidate is responsible for providing on-going support to estimators and manage contracts.</p><p>Criteria for an interview;</p><p>• A relevant undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or Accounting</p><p>• Minimum 2 years of working experience</p><p>• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment with deadlines</p><p>• Able to work accurately on multiple assignments on a timely basis.</p><p>• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite</p><p>Major Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to;</p><p>• Create tender folders, make labels</p><p>• Read and understand tender documents for submission requirements</p><p>• Apply and obtain tender supporting documents like WSIB, insurance certificate, bonds, H&S etc.</p><p>• Fill out tender forms by hand or by typing</p><p>• Prepare complete tender/bid submission packages</p><p>• Submit tenders/bids via email, website or hard copy</p><p>• Review estimators' calendar to arrange staff to attend tender meetings</p><p>• Obtain quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors</p><p>• Make follow up phone calls</p><p>• Review contracts, agreements and POs for accuracy</p><p>• Obtain contract documents, prepare contract submission folder</p><p>• Execute contracts</p><p>• Create project folders for contracts</p><p>• Create purchase orders for suppliers, subcontractors etc.</p><p>• Create sub-contractor contracts and agreements</p><p>• Prepare draft invoice template</p><p>• Log in contracts on master project file</p><p>• Review project progress with managers and update on master project file</p><p>• Able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment</p><p>• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to work independently</p><p>• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills</p><p>• Proficient in the English language, interaction with customers and suppliers</p></div></div>
