*Job Summary*
1) Scheduling trials, hearings, and other appearances before various courts and tribunals, making and responding to inquiries to/from clients, other lawyers, and court/judicial staff.
2) Typing, formatting and occasional drafting of pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda.
3) Document control for civil litigation matters.
4) General file management including the maintenance of limitation diaries and counsels schedules. Familiarity with the process and forms for filing at the Alberta Court of Justice, Court of King's Bench of Alberta, Court of Appeal of Alberta and Federal Courts will be an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $3,750.00-$5,000.00 per month
