Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations. Troubleshoot and isolate faults. Install surface mount and/or overhead cables. Instruct apprentices. Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems. Supervise other workers. Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs. Conduct preventive maintenance programs. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electrician Trade Certification. Working at heights training. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Safety equipment/gear. Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat.
