About You / What We Are Looking ForWe are seeking dedicated full-time members, both regular and temporary, to join our Parks division as Maintenance Management System Operators. This role offers a unique blend of technical and administrative responsibilities, reporting directly to the Parks Operations Control Supervisor. Key Responsibilities:Regular Full time and Temporary Full Time (1 year) Maintain and Update Systems: Oversee departmental records in our computerized maintenance management systems (Maximo/Cognos). Data Entry and Analysis: Perform essential data entry and analysis using Excel and other relevant tools. User Guidance and Assistance: Provide support to users in data integration and report generation. Report Production and Analysis: Generate and analyze various reports and statistical data to aid in decision- making processes. System Improvement Recommendations: Suggest modifications and improvements based on data insights. Procedural Development and Training: Develop procedural guidelines, deliver training sessions, and offer technical advice to stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications:Education: Completion of at least a one-year certificate course in computer science, including or supplemented by courses in database concepts and programming. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Driver?s License: A valid driver?s license for the province of British Columbia with a satisfactory driving record. What We Offer:This CUPE position has an hourly rate range of $36.06 - $42.44. The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills. Additionally, there is an opportunity to participate in an earned day off program.
