The District Sales Manager will lead a team of professional Territory Managers that call on all channels of trade to deliver District Volume and Margin objectives. DSM will be responsible for coaching, leading and developing Territory Managers to ensure an aligned approach to generating sales growth of Moosehead products along with our Partner brands in Convenience Stores across Ontario. ResponsibilitiesAchieve annual Volume and Profit objectivesLead, manage and coach the Ontario District Sales (Convenience) team to create a high-performing culture focused on driving execution to achieve business resultsLead hiring, onboarding, training and development of sales staffLead performance review processes for Ontario District Sales (Convenience) teamLead execution of business development initiatives with Convenience operators to achieve objectivesExecute dedicated time for in-market coaching and training with District Sales team working across our customer baseCollaborate with the Director of Sales and Sales team to develop key customer relationships and strategiesWork with sales team to implement new sales techniques to grow profitManage assigned cost budgets to or below Plan levelLeadership in all scheduled sales team calls and meetingsPromote entrepreneurial thinking and creative problem solving as to develop and execute new and innovative sales initiativesLead process development within this growing business unit to drive effectiveness and efficienciesQualificationsMinimum of 3 years' experience leading teams in Beverage Alcohol or CPG environmentProven record of building talent and leading team to higher level of performanceGoal oriented, sets high standards, holds team members accountable, focus on results with demonstrated ability of meeting objectivesDynamic and self-motivatedStrong communication and negotiation skills (influencing & communication skills are a must)Strong strategic, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skillsPost-secondary graduate in a related disciplineAbility to travel and work flexible hours which may include some evenings and weekendsOther InformationPerksComprehensive pension and health benefits package.EFAP ProgramFitness reimbursement programLeadership Development ProgramCar & Mobile AllowanceBeer Voucher ProgramMaternity & Paternity Leave programWhat you can expect from us?Respect.
