You'll join a team of passionate and driven innovators, who are breaking barriers and expanding the reach of Canada's most-loved entertainment.At Bell Media, you'll redefine digital connections and pioneer next-generation services, propelling us to reach new heights, unlock untapped potential and expand horizons for our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesWriting news articles and briefs, managing pages, metadata, and multimedia elements across all digital platformsCovering events for digital platforms, conducting interviews, and writing articlesShowcasing the best available content in a digital format tailored to the brand's audienceMonitoring social media and identifying emerging storiesProposing and developing original coverage topics; ability to handle breaking newsSupporting colleagues by helping them successfully adapt their content for digital platforms, suggesting the best approachesFollowing editorial standards and guidelines regarding accuracy, ethics, and legal issuesOther assigned tasksCritical QualificationsBachelor's degree in journalism or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience in digital journalismProven experience in news reporting and the ability to produce content under tight deadlinesStrong writing skills, storytelling ability, and knowledge of local, national, and international newsIn-depth knowledge of social media, its "codes," and best practicesUnderstanding of digital performance data and the ability to draw useful conclusionsProfessional, results-oriented approachProven organizational skills and ability to work independently within tight deadlinesGood editorial judgment, demonstrated ability to produce original reportsKnowledge of video editing an assetIn the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada#EmployeeReferralProgramAdequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
