*Job Description*
The Communications & Community Manager is responsible for brand development and organizational communications. Through your knowledge, understanding, and a passion of communications and the social media landscape, you will work with our senior management team to support growth and engagement across all communication and social channels. Your creativity and keenness to progress strategically and analytically will allow you to learn, develop and execute comprehensive social media marketing programs.
The Communications & Community Manager is required to own implementation and maintenance of online social campaigns, as well as support on the wider strategy and planning for growth of the online communities. You will be in contact with members through social channels, developing and implementing community strategies, managing community conversations, and fostering community spirit.
*Duties & Responsibilities:*
· Manage community on our social media platforms and internal communications.
· Design and maintain content calendars.
· Writing content designed to create passion and grow the brand communities across channels.
· Ownership of social platforms independently ? Primarily Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
· Regular feedback insights gained from social media monitoring to help evolve a social strategy.
· Manage communities located on social networking sites Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube and other similar social media channels.
· Develop understanding of the implication of new social media platform such as Snapchat, Periscope, WeChat.
· Follow social processes and guidelines set by our social and community strategy
· Conduct competitive analysis on social activity.
· Develop a broad understanding of reporting metrics to help improve and strengthen community management activity and social content development.
· Regularly review competitors and comparators to benchmark social activity and broaden understanding of social landscape.
· Implement print and digital communication strategies and execution of social media marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support marketing objectives including setup and execution within social channels.
· Learn the role of social advertising / bought media and the strategies behind them
· Support on developing social campaigns of all scales.
· Understand the principles and variety of blogger outreach / influencer programs
· Understand how to plan, implement, and report on activity.
· Build relationships with the online marketplace of bloggers, influencers, and publications.
*Requirements & Qualifications:*
* Minimum 3 years experience working in marketing communications/social/agency role
* Degree in Business, Communications or Marketing
* An aptitude for building relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
* Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
* Strong written and verbal communication and copyediting and editing skills are a must.
* High attention to detail with proven organizational, planning and time management skills.
* A customer service-oriented mindset and willingness to be accountable.
* Strong proficiency and experience with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter and familiarity with Google Analytics and social media analytics
* Diplomacy and the ability to deal with sensitive issues in a tactful and respectful manner
* Self-starter, who can work independently and collaborate efficiently, professionally, and collaboratively with all stakeholders.
* Be able to provide a portfolio
