Job details
*Administrative assistant responsibilities:*
* Answer and direct phone calls
* Maintain filing system
* Data entry
* Accounts receivable/payable
* Journal entries
* Reconcile accounts and reports
* Generate reports
* Handle multiple projects
* Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
* Cover the reception desk when required
* Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
* Reply to email, telephone, or face-to-face inquiries
* Receive, sort, and distribute the mail
* Greet and assist visitors to the office
* Provide polite and professional communication
* Implement clerical duties and administrative processes
*Administrative assistant qualifications:*
* Proven administration /office experience
* Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational and planning skills
* Proficient in MS Office
* Ability to work independently
* At least 3 years of experience in admin/office
* High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
-Please do not apply if you are in school or returning to school ? hours required to work are 8:30-5:00 Monday to Friday ? three days a week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
