We are seeking a Vancouver-based *Architectural with Structural knowledge BIM Technologist *(preferably with residential & commercial project experience) for a lead technologist role in the design of our projects. Applicant should be able to relocate or commute to Stack?s Vancouver office before starting work.

*Job Type:* Full-time, Permanent
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/assets:
* Expert experience (min 7 years) in BIM/Revit or Revit Arch (preferred), creating, using and maintaining Revit families, issuing & controlling large drawing packages and the ability to manage linked models including clash detection.
* Extensive experience (min 5 years) on BIM 360/VDC & cloud collaboration tools.
* Extensive experience (min 7 years) creating details and shop-level drawings.
* Experience coordinating architectural, structural, and MEPF plans(min 5 years) (Required for review sessions, coordination with our North American and Asia procurement & production teams, and collaborating with our in-house designers and consultants.)
* Experience in Architectural for residential/commercial projects preferably with modular building design & construction experience (min 5 years).
* Structural steel detailing experience is a bonus.
* University degree or college certificate in Architecture/Engineering or a related field.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and an ability to communicate technical information effectively and efficiently.
* General knowledge and understanding of construction trades, scopes of work, and building codes, relative to Architectural & Structural definitely an asset.
* Willing to travel and work in Shanghai, China when required (typically one 1-week trip per year).
* Excellent time management and multitasking skills, and detail-oriented.
* Proactive with a strong desire to push the company and modular construction in new and exciting directions.

This individual will report directly to the Design Manager of Stack Modular in North America.

License/Certification:
* Canadian Work Permit (required)

* 25% (preferred)
