*Description*
Solid Stone is looking for a solid candidate to join the team as an Office Assistant. Exceptional organizational, communication and computer skills are required to help our small office succeed. You would be responsible for general administrative tasks, answering the phone and replying to emails, as well as keeping our showroom and office looking good and running smoothly. If you are willing to learn or have goals and would like to use this position as a stepping stone into sales, design, project management and estimating, we are happy to teach and mentor as you learn the business and support the sales and scheduling team.
*Duties & Responsibilities*
* Preparing paperwork such as quotes, work/repair orders, meeting minutes, etc.
* Preparing weekly department reports
* General filling and office organization
* Answering the phone and replying to emails
* Greeting customers in the showroom and connecting them with a sales person
* Maintaining office and showroom cleanliness
* Handling customer service inquiries
* Perform other support tasks, including updating and sorting files, drafting and proofreading correspondence, and conducting market research
*Skills & Qualifications*
* High school diploma/GED
* Previous experience in an office assistant position preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Cloud Based Software
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
* Excellent phone and email etiquette
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Strong listening skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
