Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems. Discuss work with supervisor. Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Road test motor vehicles . Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems. Test and adjust units to specifications. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination. Attention to detail. Manual dexterity. Standing for extended periods. Own tools/equipment: Tools.
