Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Record transactions
  • Prepare monthly statements
  • Manage accounts payable
  • Manage accounts receivable
  • Balance daily transactions
  • Analyze clients' financial records
  • Prepare invoices and bank deposits
  • Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements
  • Prepare T4 statements and other statements
