Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Tasks: Move tools, equipment and other materials. Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public. Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Repair and balance tires. Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed. Area of work experience: Installation. Maintenance. Repair. Area of specialization: Motor vehicles. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
