Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Survey building locations and levels. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments. Supervision: 3-4 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Overtime required. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Safety vest. Personal suitability: Reliability.
