Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Estimate costs of installing equipment. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates. Oversee the preparation of sales and orders. Promote sales to existing clients. Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services. Deliver sales presentations. Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries. Conduct sales transactions. Prepare and administer sales contracts. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates. Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs. Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions. Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment. Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services. Resolve product and service related problems. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment.
