Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Address customers' complaints or concerns. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations. Drive lighter, special purpose trucks. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Trans-border documentation. Trip reports. Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Transportation/travel experience: International. Long-haul. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you available for the advertised start date?.
