Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates. Oversee the preparation of sales and orders. Prepare sales or other contracts. Promote sales to existing clients. Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. Deliver sales presentations. Conduct sales transactions. Prepare and administer sales contracts. Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce. Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services. Provide customer service. Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for persons with disabilities: Provides visual accessibility accommodations (for example: braille, screen readers, etc.). Provides auditory accessibility accommodations (for example: transcription software, teletypewriters, etc.). Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Support for Veterans: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans . Support for Indigenous people: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Support for mature workers: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination . Supports for visible minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
