Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Commercial building. Shopping centre or mall. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform safety and security checks. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Equipment: Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments). Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for Indigenous people: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Supports for visible minorities: Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees. Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.- LocationVermilion, AB
