\*Job Overview\* We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and experience working in the food industry. \*Responsibilities\* - Prepare and cook delicious and high-quality meals following recipes - Ensure food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation - Assist in all areas of meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces - Collaborate with the kitchen team to provide excellent service - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Handle food with care and follow proper food handling procedures \*Qualifications\* - Proven experience as a Cook or similar role - Knowledge of best practices in the food industry - Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Certification in food safety is a plus Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $17.43-$18.29 per hour Expected hours: 15 ? 25 per week Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Morning shift Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Cooking: 1 year (required) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (required) * Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required) Work Location: In person- LocationLloydminster, AB
