Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Manufacture. Tasks: Conduct tests and analysis using other physical and chemical separation techniques. Maintain laboratory equipment. Operate laboratory apparatus. Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses. Assist in set up and conduction of chemical experiments. Compile records for analytical studies. MS Office. Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards . Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results. Prepare solution of gas or liquid, reagents, and sample formulations. Perform physical and chemical laboratory tests. Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems. Analyze technical documents and reports. Analyze test results and instrument readings. Analytical techniques: Spectroscopy. Microscopy. Sampling. Corrosion studies. Statistics.
