Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Train or arrange for training. Oversee safety of operations. Recommend personnel actions. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise staff or team. Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies. Conduct quality control. Supervisory Experience. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met. Participate in staff meetings. Supervision: Electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors and testers. 3-4 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication.
