Agri-Solve Inc. is hiring a full-time Agronomist to join our team! This is a great opportunity to work with all different farm operations across Southwestern Ontario. Providing agronomic advice, knowledge and leadership to growers in their assigned market while performing job duties such as crop planning, field scouting, fertility & soil management. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Create crop plans with customers based on their requirements and current operations, weed management and fertility recommendationsScout customer fields throughout the growing season for weed, insects, disease and nutrition issuesCreate crop recommendations based current up to date field conditionsEnsure that application of seeding, fertility and pesticides are improving the customers productivity.Documenting field evaluation of seed, chemical, specialty products and fertilizerWorking with the customers to achieve goals relating to weed management, yield potential and soil improvement. Soil sample fields, may including multiple depth sampling, sampling by geo-reference and multiple site sampling in the event of changes in soil textureGather, compile, analyze and interpret test results and prepare progress reportsCreate farm maps and soil sampling mapsAssist with agronomic budgeting and cost monitoring with customersInteract with suppliers, applicators and agronomy laboratoriesRemain up to date on crop nutrition and protection technologyBuild customer relationships and trustBuild lasting relationships with new and current customers to understand their needsWorking with the customers to achieve goals relating to weed management, yield potential and soil improvement.   Requirements:College degree in Agronomy or B. Sc Agriculture is a requirement. CCA designation an asset Experience in the agronomic industry in seed, crop protection & fertility required.Familiarity with John Deere Operations Center, Climate Field View, Farm Works & other digital agriculture mapping, and script producing software is a real benefitValid Drivers LicenseExcellent communications skills and ability to communicate observations and recommendations clearly. Great penmanship and ability to read and write cursive is a must.Demonstrate initiative to work independently but being able to work with the team members and customers is key.Maintain a positive and respectful attitude. Full-Time employment available with possibility of flexible hours. Paid Bi-Weekly with competitive wage or salary. Work truck and ATV, with all tools required to complete daily tasks provided. Must be willing to relocate to and live in the Huron/ Perth County immediate working area. Interested in joining our team?
