Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Estimate cost of projects. Prepare detailed specifications. Work in a multidisciplinary environment. Create interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes. Supervise staff or team. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards. Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space. Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Photoshop. AutoCAD. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Client focus. Flexibility. Organized. Team player.
