Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Urban area. Various locations. Rural area. Construction site. Tasks: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Roofing. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines.
