With a long history of providing high quality experiences for students, the Richmond School District strives to be The Best Place to Learn and Lead.<p>The Richmond School District is seeking a qualified part-time secondary Technology Education teacher. This position which starts for Semester 2 currently consists of 3 blocks of Tech Education and Woodwork. <p>A demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and a wide variety of learning needs and styles, highly motivated students as well as struggling learners, will be required. Recent work experience must reflect a commitment to collaboration and a willingness to work with colleagues in a professional and supportive environment.<p>At Palmer all teachers support and implement our school behavior expectations through 'Palmer Pride'. In addition, all teachers at Palmer are expected to teach/facilitate sessions a tour Careers Conference Days, (dates TBD) and have demonstrated commitment to implementing all aspects of the new curriculum, including a focus on core competencies and inquiry-based, big ideas approach to teaching and learning.<p>The successful candidate must be a qualified Technology Education teacher with experience in these subjects and grade levels.
