_PhotoSat_ is a Vancouver-based product-driven technology company that provides satellite-based elevation surveying and alteration mineral mapping. Our clients include mining companies, exploration companies, resource development companies, and engineering consulting firms engaged in a wide range of applications.
Because of our technology, our products and services are truly unique. There are many forms of surveying, however we are the only company producing satellite surveying. In short, we are competing against other technologies, not other companies.
*Your role at a glance:*
We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our Revenue Team as a B2B Technical Sales Executive. Reporting to the Head of Revenue, you will work closely with the Project Managers and Sales Development Representatives to manage the full sales cycle and grow PhotoSat's business.

* *Sales experience. *You are an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of generating sales in a B2B environment. You are comfortable in a long sales cycle. You are patient, persuasive, and supportive with clients who require detailed technical information as part of the sales decision-making process.
* *Solid communication skills. *You write a clear and concise emails to prospective clients and colleagues. You bring a professional and friendly presence to Teams calls and live presentations. You are a confident presenter who can explain technical concepts effectively.
* *Desire to learn.* You are curious. You strive to understand products so you can act as a subject matter expert. You can perform thorough research independently to understand the needs of the client.
* *Industry knowledge.* You have experience in the engineering, construction, and/or resource development industry. You are familiar with the challenges of large-scale project management and how data quality influences project success and efficiency.
* *Experience and education.* This is a mid/senior position. You have 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales in a technical industry.
*What you will do:*
* *Identify new business opportunities. *You will work with other Project Developers and other Sales Executives to identify and generate new business opportunities for PhotoSat. You will find the right people in the right businesses, and you will develop relationships with them.
* ?*Deliver technical presentations.* You will work directly with our team of Sales Development Representatives to research, prepare, tailor, and deliver persuasive sales presentations for prospective clients.
* *Prepare technical proposals*. You will prepare detailed technical proposals for clients. You will pitch the right products to the right clients.
* *Nurture and negotiate.* You will patiently and persuasively work with clients to support their decision-making.
* *Prepare quotes.* You will provide tailored estimates to the client?s quote request based on the scope of work needed.
* *Data entry.* You will maintain your opportunities and accounts in our CRM. You will ensure that the CRM reflects the current state of the sales funnel.
* *Provide technical expertise.* You will become a subject matter expert in PhotoSat?s products and services. You will assist clients and new staff in understanding the applications and benefits of PhotoSat?s technology in safe and responsible resource development projects.
* *Provide input to adapt products to meet client requirements.* You will offer insights to ensure products are customized to align with client needs and preferences.
