In addition, the successful candidate will benefit from competitive compensation and a healthy and safe work environment.</p><p>Don't wait any longer and join this great team!</p><h3>Job description</h3><p>As Director of Human Resources, under the supervision of the Vice President of Human Resources, and in close collaboration with the General Manager, you will be responsible for implementing programs and initiatives in both human resources and occupational health and safety and will be a key member of the management team.</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Provide advice, support and expertise in human resources management (labor relations, recruitment, integration, skills development, performance management, payroll support, hourly compensation administration, compliance, employee relations, etc.)</li><li>Ensure the application and interpretation of the collective agreement and provide advice to managers</li><li>Promote harmonious working relationships by ensuring dialogue and establishing a relationship of trust with the union party</li><li>Be present for employees by regularly spending time in the plant to understand the needs and address employee concerns</li><li>Participate in the creation and development of human resources and occupational health and safety processes/procedures</li><li>Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing the necessary reports to evaluate the effectiveness of HR policies and initiatives</li><li>Ensure the planning and monitoring of training programs</li><li>Ensure the implementation, compliance and application of occupational health and safety policies and procedures, in accordance with current legal regulations</li><li>Monitor work accident and occupational illness files and leave diseases</li><li>Supervise an HR team, including a health and safety coordinator and a human resources coordinator, ensuring effective leadership and harmonious collaboration within the department</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>DEC or BAC in human resources or a related field</li><li>Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in human resources and health and safety management, ideally in a unionized manufacturing environment</li><li>Good knowledge of the legislative context regarding labor relations and OHS</li><li>Dynamic, autonomous and able to work in a team</li><li>Resourceful and versatile</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and good listening skills</li><li>Ability to prioritize and organize</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Working conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Face-to-face work</li><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>Relocation assistance</li><li>Pension plan with employer contribution</li><li>Competitive group insurance plan</li></ul><p></p>
