Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 1 or A). First Aid Certificate. Documentation knowledge: Bill of lading. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Dump truck. Hydrovac. Tractor-trailer. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Overtime required. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone. Hard hat. Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
